Rotary Youth Exchange program is the most successful exchange program in the world for high school students. Between 7,000-8,000 students world wide from over 60 countries take part in this program each year! 

The GOAL of the Rotary Youth Exchange Program is to promote the advancement of international understanding, goodwill and peace at the person-to-person level and is for high school aged students interested in living and studying abroad for one year.

You must be:

  • In the top half of your class, so you can spare a year in return for this experience.

  • Confident, mature, adaptable and adventuresome!

  • Willing to abide by the rules of the program.

  • Able to make the most of the social, educational and cultural benefits offered.

  • A good ambassador for our international Rotary District 6330, and our community.


  • $2,400 which includes Rotary insurance, conference fees, administration, and blazer.

  • Purchase a changeable return ticket by air to destination city.

  • Bring some spending money. There are organized tours offered by Rotary which are optional.

  • Host Rotary Club will provide monthly allowance (about $100 CAD or spending equivalent).

  • Host Rotary Club will arrange host families (goal is 3) and schooling arrangements.
